Moving out is a dreadful process. The toughest part of moving out is the packing. Apart from having to decide if you should bring or leave your mattress in Singapore, you also have to put it in a box and load it into the car. Unlike a console table in Singapore, kitchen appliances like a food processor, refrigerator, and rice cooker in Singapore, have more complex shapes and fragile materials, making them extra harder to pack.

Here is your guide on how to pack kitchen appliances:

Step 1: Clean all your appliances

Cleaning your appliances is hitting two birds in one stone. Firstly, it is nasty to pack your food processor with all the crumbs left inside. It will attract pests to your new place and may grow mould.

Secondly, you can also do some inspection while cleaning them. You can check for open wires, loose bolts, tiny glass cracks and chips in your rice cooker. By then, you can decide whether to bring it or buy a new rice cooker in Singapore.

Step 2: Disassemble your appliances

Many pieces of furniture today, like a console table in Singapore, can be disassembled and assembled. You can dismantle your kitchen appliances as well. Dismantling your equipment will help them in boxes. Just make sure to put all the parts together; so you don't lose one.

Step 3: Wrap your appliances with paper or bubble wrap

Wrapping the appliances with paper before putting them in the box prevents them from getting scratches. Much better if you can wrap it with bubble wrap instead. Bubble wrap provides a cushion to your item appropriate for items with glasses.

Step 4: Box them

Make sure to use appropriate sizes of boxes for your food processor. You can put smaller items to fill gaps inside the box. Make sure to seal the box with tape; so equipment is secured inside if it topples down. Label the boxes as well.

Packing kitchen appliances is not easy, but you can always sell them and buy new equipment once you reach your place.
