But there’s just one problem. Glass doors are not as easy to maintain as doors made from opaque materials like wood or metal. How to take care of your glass shower doors
When well taken care of, a glass partition wall or glass shower door adds a modern sort of luxury or elegance that is hard to emulate with other materials. But that’s only if you keep them clean and transparent. To preserve the look of your bathroom, follow these tips.
1.Keep to a regular cleaning schedule.
Glass doors need to be cleaned regularly, about once per day ideally. If you do this, you don’t need to do a deep clean of your bathroom more than once every few weeks. Give your glass doors a wipe-down every week or so.
2.Use squeegees and microfibre cloths.
For both a framed and frameless sliding glass door in Singapore bathrooms, wiping your glass door down with a cloth is necessary to avoid water stains on your doors.
3.Utilise ingredients at home for an easy shower solution.
Mix white vinegar, baking soda or dish detergent, and salt and spay the front and back of your glass doors. Let it sit and it can cut through much of the muck and grime. Be sure the solution’s safe on your other shower materials, though!
